Nature Club This Club is formed to conserve nature’s heritage by education and direct conservation efforts through the medium of trekking, workshops, and discussions on crucial environmental issues and concerns .The club also creates awareness for the need of eco-friendly environment. It also fulfills the requirement of nature lovers & cultivates love, affection towards nature along with their study. The aims and objectives of Nature Club of invoking the urban and rural youth in constructive and development programmes in rural society; of participation in socio-economic life of the community; and of national integration through corporate living and co-operative action etc, are symbolised in a form which mainly signifies the progressive “Cycle of Life” This Club is formed to conserve nature’s heritage by education and direct conservation efforts through the medium of trekking, workshops and discussions on crucial environmental issues and concerns .The club also creates awareness for the need of an eco-friendly environment. THE NATURE CLUB This Club is formed to conserve nature’s heritage by education direct conservation efforts through the medium of Trekking, Workshops and Discussions on Crucial Environmental Issues and Concerns. Tree plantation programme was held in S.V.N.I.T College of Surat organized by Nature Club, Surat on 7 th July, 2019 at 6.15 am. The students of Nature Club and NSS Unit of our Sheth P.T. Mahila College of Arts and Home Science, Surat actively participated in this programme. Mrs. Purnima Pancholi, Dr, Padmshree Patel and Mrs Jayshree Trivedi from our college coordinated this programme. Various trees were planted viz., Queen’s Crops, Indian Laburnum, Mountain Ebony, Sarlet, Fountain tree etc. Students also get awared about the importance of tree for our survival of life. Method of planting and watering was also demonstrated by the experts and staff of Nature Club, Surat presented there. The multiple uses of various trees were also explained by them.

Tree Plantation
An activity on the occasion of Wild life week was organized on 8 October, 2019. On this occassion, students of F.Y.B.Sc. approximately 150 students had prepared various posters on the topics related to protection of wild life such as various plant and animal species , in situ and ex situ conservation of various kinds. They displayed their creativity in room no 18 of college itself. This kinds of activities enhance nature awareness in the students.Celebration of Wildlife Week
Educational Seminar
A programme on nature education camp awareness was organized on 5th February, 2020 in Room no. 104 at 10.00 am and total numbers of students were about 100. The resource person for conducting the session was Mr. Viral Bhai Prajapati (Wilderness India, Surat). He gave information about camp site i.e., Jambughoda Wildlife Sanctuary, which is located in the Panchmahal District of Central Gujarat. Jambughoda Wildlife Sanctuary area is under the Jambughoda, Princely state of Gujarat prior to independence. Following activities were discussed under this programme-
- Treking in jungle.
- Different types of adventure activities under the observation.
- Precaution in forest area.
- Essential required things need to be carried in trip.
- Information about various group games.
- How to protect jungles while doing different activities.
Overall Jungle trekking is the greatest way to get close to nature. It is a way for you to experience the real beauty of nature and gain the opportunity of a lifetime to marvel at rare flora and fauna.
