The Academia–Industry Summit 2026 was successfully conducted over two days, bringing together industry professionals from diverse sectors such as food industry, healthcare, hospitality, nutraceuticals, fitness, NGOs, and analytical testing laboratories.
Day 1 – 27th February 2026
The event began with the inaugural session, which included prayer, welcome address, and an introduction to the purpose of the summit. The program was anchored by Ms. Anjali.
Dr. Smita Bhatt delivered the welcome address, warmly greeting the guests and participants. This was followed by an address by Dr. V. N. Solanki Sir, who spoke about the vision and initiatives of the college. Mrs. Minakshi Ma’am provided an overview of the program and explained the importance of industry–academia collaboration.
The industry partners were then introduced, and they shared valuable insights related to their respective fields. The sessions helped students understand industry expectations, career opportunities, and real-world challenges faced by professionals.
The first day concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mrs. Meena Raja, expressing gratitude to all speakers, organizers, and participants.
Day 2 – 28th February 2026
Day 2 of the summit began with another inaugural session, welcoming new industry guests who joined the program. The purpose of the Academia–Industry Summit was explained again for the new participants, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between education and industry. The program continued with introductions and sessions by industry representatives from sectors including social work organizations, beverage industry, Ayurveda industry, fitness and wellness sector, and food testing laboratories. The speakers shared their experiences, industry requirements, and opportunities available for students in their respective fields. These sessions helped students gain broader knowledge about different career pathways and industry practices. The summit concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Vimal, acknowledging the contribution of all industry experts, faculty members, volunteers, and students who made the event successful.
The event ended on a positive note, strengthening the connection between academia and industry and opening doors for future collaborations such as internships, training programs.
