The Cultural Committee of SPTMC organized a vibrant Fresher’s Event on 30th July 2025 from 8:00 a.m. onwards with the lively “Boho Theme”. The event aimed to warmly welcome the first-year students and make them feel at home in their new academic environment.
The celebration began with an enthusiastic address by Dr. Smita Bhat, Principal, who welcomed the freshers with her inspiring words and best wishes for their academic journey ahead.
The program featured a series of exciting performances that showcased the immense talent and enthusiasm of the students. The event commenced with a Prayer Dance by Venisha Chandane (T.Y. B.A. Eng) followed by a Welcome Speech by Samiya Jiwani (F.Y. BSc). The stage then came alive with various performances including singing, solo and group dances, and thought-provoking speeches.

🗣️ Speeches – Zakia Khan and Nafisa Rampurawala
The event concluded with a surprise dance by T.Y. B.Sc girls and lively DJ session, where students danced together, celebrating the spirit of unity and joy. The hall was filled with laughter, music, and cheerful energy, truly reflecting the “Boho” vibe of the theme.
The Fresher’s Event 2025 turned out to be a grand success, thanks to the efforts of the Cultural Committee, faculty members, and enthusiastic participation of the students. It served as a perfect beginning to the new academic year, setting a cheerful tone for the days ahead.
