A Display/exhibition of useful journals/magazines was organized by library in collaboration with department of dress designs in which total 190 magazines/journals were displayed. Dr. Jaya Barevadia and Prof. Jyoti Godhre informed the students regarding latest arrivals.
July 11, 2013 Lectures on guidance how book reviews can be done were arranged at central Hall, speak Dr. Ashwin Desai and Shree Janakbhai Naik (Sahitya Sankul) delivered lectures on the same and provided very good information on book review.
July 15, 2013 A book review programmed was arranged at library in which total 17 students actively participated. They were guided by Dr. Jaya Barevadia and encouraged by awarding prizes.
The best three students were

July 17, 2013 Book Review : Total 21 students of B.HSc (HD) department participated. The programme was handled by Dr. Jaya Barevadia, Mrs. Smruti Juneja and Dr. Rupam Bhatt.
July 22, 2013 Book Review: Total 19 students of 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd years of Gujarati departments participated in book review. Dr. Chetnaben Vasavada and Dr. Jaya Barevadia acted as judge and awarded the following winners.

August 3, 2016 A book review programme was organized by Library in collaboration of Gujarati Department. The panel of judges was Dr. Jaya Barevadia, Prof. Mukeshbhai Chauhan and Dr. Chetnaben Vasavada.
September 8, 2016 Book review programme of HECS was held in collaboration with library.The whole programme was handled by Dr. Purnima Pancholi and the judges were Dr. Jaya Barevadia, Purnimaben Pancholi and Suhash Vaidya. The winners’ students are as below

September 14, 2016 During the celebration of Hindi week a book review programme was organized by Hindi Department with collaboration of library which was handled by Dr. Kalaben Vasava and the panel of judges was Dr. Jaya Barevadia and Prof. Arvindbhai Vasava and the winners were

To encourage and to attract the students towards library, the best reader award is declared for the student reader who use the library maximum and this award winner is Vaibhavi Mumbaiwala(T.Y. Gujarati)
All the winners of book review as well as best reader were awarded with Certificate and a book. Our library believes in helping the students who are economically poor. For the students of TY (FN), TY (HD), TY (Gujarati) and SY (Psychology) were facilitated by Book Bank.

20 th to 22 nd Jul. '17 Students of TYBSc General Home Science were informed about their subject related books.
23 rd Aug. '17 A Book Review Programme was organized in collaboration with General Home Science Department. The Panel of Judges were Dr. Jaya Barevadia and Prof. Anuradha Shah. Following students were the winners.

28 th Aug. '17 Book Review Programme for TY FSN was held in collaboration with library. Dr.Khushaman Dholawala and Dr. Jaya Barevadia and guided the students on How to Review Books. The Winner were Awarded with

3. Karishma Patel
2017-18 The students who are the members of Book Bank were provided 6 to 8 books for the period of one year on nominal charges.
2017-18 The Library worked in collaboration with the Department of Human Development and successfully arranged A National Conference on “ Family Empowerment-A path towards better life ”
2017-18 All the papers received during the National Conference were Reviewed, Compiled and Published as a Book entitled “ Live Better Life through Family Empowerment ” with ISBN:978-93-82037-74-3.
